Question by WF: What happened in the end of the movie Inception?
I have the answer. Several comment I have read all say the children’s clothing is the same in the end of the movie but it is not. Being that you can rewind and watch over all should have known this was not the fact. In the end the little girl is wearing a pink dress over a white t-shirt but in the beginning she is wearing a pink dress that has pink cap sleeves that match the dress. The only answer is that he is back to reality in the end. Someone else noted that when he went to find the person who made the promise to him that person reached for the the gun and shot Cobb which is why it makes sense that he awoke first on the plane and then he shot himself which is why he awoke second and when they awoke, everyone else was already operating in reality. Finally, you can see the top wavering in the end and it cuts out just before it falls. Go back to the first time he spins it and note the sound which gets louder just before the top slows and comes to a stop. In the end you can hear the sound getting louder and the top starts wavering just before it cuts out. I am looking forward to the sequel for sure. 🙂

In dreams, Cobb is still married to Mal, that means he has a wedding ring on. But at the end, he hasn’t got a ring on.
When your dreaming, you always end up in the middle of things, you don’t know how they got there, but Cobb wakes up in the airplane.
