What is some good software to assemble multiple still images into a movie?

Question by water_skipper: What is some good software to assemble multiple still images into a movie?
I have a decent digital camera. It will take very nice still images at high resolution. It only takes motion video at low resolution. What I want to do is use the digital camera to take a bunch of high resolution still images the put them in order to make a movie. Is there any software that makes it really easy to just put a bunch of .JPG pictures in a row to make a movie?
