What is something cool to make with old movie tickets?
Question by pintohurt2012: What is something cool to make with old movie tickets?
I am currently in the process of doing my room in a movie theater theme. I have movie posters on the wall, I painted my wall to look like a movie theater and so on. I have old movie tickets from about 2007 until now and was trying to think of something cool to do with them for my room. Anybody have any ideas??

You could embed them in a polymer resin cube. I’ve included a link below that explains how to use 2-part resin to make jewelry pendants, but you can also use a mold or even a small plastic box to make a clear block with the tickets embedded inside.
You would follow the instructions in the article, except add a thin layer of vaseline inside of the mold.
-Fill your mold halfway
-Let it sit until the resin settles and thickens.
-Lay your tickets on top
-Cover with another layer of liquid resin.
-let it harden for at least 24 to 48 hours
-If you use a plastic box instead of a mold you may have to break the plastic box to release your block with the ticket inside.
Some craft stores that sell the 2-part resin also sell molds to make jewelry and a mold release you can use instead of Vaseline, but those may not be big enough to hold a movie ticket. They may also cost too much when you start adding up your supply costs.
