I am connecting my PC to my HDTV and would like to watch TV and movies from the internet. Is there is a free, virus-free software for watching TV and movies online? And will installing a tv tuner card on my PC make any difference?

Download and install the satellite-TV software , you can watch many kinds of sports channels such as Fox, ESPN, CBS…online in comfort and quality.
You don’t need TV tuner card.
You might want to tray a free(14 days trial) software first… in that case download “Free Internet TV 7.1.1”. Works quite good
