What type of college would one study at to become a movie make-up artist?

Question by Devtastic: What type of college would one study at to become a movie make-up artist?
What type of college would someone go to to study to be a professional make-up artist?
And I don’t mean just making people look pretty…I mean making people look entirely different. Special effects make-up and such for movies or the stage.
Please be specific
And also, if you know of any appropriate colleges in florida, you should list them 🙂

There arent specific schools for makeup artistry. You would have to go into a different field that incorporates makeup into it. Theres one like esthetics which is skin care. Usually when you go into that, they will offer you other courses that are for makeup specifically. You just have to search. I live in michigan so im not aware of florida school sorry.
