What’s a good movie making program, besides windows Movie Maker?

Question by waterchick128: What’s a good movie making program, besides windows Movie Maker?
I need to switch movie making programs because every time I switch from different collections, it always closes out on me for no good reason. What’s a good movie making program that can do all of the things that WMM can do? Please help!
And also, it would be better if it was free.
