I am in grade 11 and I need to make a short 5 minute film about an issue in the world such as blood diamonds, or child soldiers, or pollution, etc. Please give me a good idea to make this movie on and what to incorporate in the film about this topic. Thank you.

You could do a film about the blurring line between news and entertainment.
1) There are talk shows that discuss news. They don’t really give facts. But rather, they present opinions as facts. (Hardball, Bill O’Reilly)
2) There are talk show hosts who use their shows to promote political agendas. ( The View, The Daily Show, David Letterman, Oprah)
3) Traditional news broadcasts are increasingly using entertainment clips as news segments. ( SNL political coverage)
4) Traditional news outlets are promoting one candidate or political party instead of presenting unbiased facts.
