I need software for my windows computer so I can take one of my movies and put it on my computer. With artwork and details of the movie. So I can search movies by what ever I want and then just hit play. They have units out there that do all of that perfect but I dont want to spend that much money. There just computers I just want to make mine do it.

Just search for any media orgraniser. That would suffice. As for your question, its not very clear, whether you want to organise you movies, or you want to turn your computer into a server, so you can access it from anywhere.
If latter is the case, then you can download applications like PurpleNova, and turn your pc into a server..
