Question by digiartist: Why aren’t there any movie action stars nowadays?
I love action movies with real kicka** protagonists like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Lee, Bruce Willis, Sly Stallone etc. How comes that there are no new action stars of that quality and charisma nowadays? Is it that CG technology makes it possible to turn every sissy boy into an action hero like that Peter Parker guy in Spiderman, or Hugh Jackman, who’s not convincing as an action hero? It’s like they pick a random guy off the street give them a personal trainer to gain some muscles and the CG make the rest… . Am I alone with my opinion? I’d like to read your opinions on that!

I would say you answered the question yourself. CG has a lot to do with it. Although two names I would throw out there that can be good action stars are Sam Worthington and Christian Bale.
