www.willowcreekpictures.com Hello, I’m Alan Andrew Taylor and you have found Willow Creek Pictures, my sole trading video production company based in Edinburgh, Scotland. It’s one of Scotland’s newest companies and is currently run by myself producing a variety of things for the private and public sector. Here’s the lowdown on what I can do. Credentials: I am a full member of BECTU, the Broadcast, Entertainment, Cinematography and Theatre Union with all my prices based on the current professional industry rates so your getting value for money combined with a motivated and easy to work with Producer. I started filmmaking in 2007 while capturing many events that took place across Edinburgh using my Hi8 camera I was given after joining the Edinburgh Cine and Video Society in 2006. After taking Media Studies at Portobello High School, I decided to undertake a practical hands on course at Jewel & College for two years where I completed an HND in Film and Television Production. I left in June 2009 and after many months struggling to get work, I decided to set up my company and worked for six months building up some new clients and improving my video and business skills all the time. I’m presently taking my skills to the next level and I am currently doing a BA (Hons) in Television Production at Napier Television where I hope to work in Television and continue to build on my business for a whole career in the screen industries.
