Windows Movie Maker – How to add voice clips over muted clips while background music is playing?
Question by Jennie: Windows Movie Maker – How to add voice clips over muted clips while background music is playing?
I’ve been wanting to practise making movie trailers for a while now on Windows Movie Maker. The problem is that I can’t seem to figured out how to add the audio of one clip over another clip without loosing the background music. So for example while one character is speaking the clip fades into a shot of a different character while the audio of the first character remains without seeing them on screen, while a background song is playing just like in a real movie trailer. Can anyone help me?

sorry, but you just can’t do it… since movie maker is way too basic. It only supports one layer of audio. For one time projects like this, try Womble Mpeg Video wizard 🙂
will solve your problem…30 day full trial, by that time, i guess you’re done!
