Question by Rai: Windows Movie Maker – how to keep a song playing but turn it down on a specific clip to let the voices over?
I am doing my first attempt at making a home movie for my family for Christmas. I have never tried this before- learning as I go. I am using Windows Movie Maker because that is what is on my computer. How can I have my video clips going, playing my songs but on a certain clip make it seem like the song is in the background and so we can hear the audio on it better…. but then it goes back to just the song again? I see there is an option on top next to tools called “clip” and when I click it to see the drag down stuff it says I can select audio then it shows me mute, fade in, fade out and volume – but none of them I can use. They are faded grey and won’t let me select. How can I either do what I am trying, or make it so I can use those?
Please PLEASE help me!
Thanks!
