Windows Movie Maker won’t make the move file?

After i finish making a movie i usually just got to “file” “save movie” but lately it says i get through the setup process it starts to save and then it gives me is this error “Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location. Verify that the original source files used in your movie are still available, that the save location is still available, and that there is enough free disk space available, and then try again.” Everything is still available yet it will not do save. Please help.

If its of any importance i use a Sony Handycam dcr-dvd108 and use kdenlive for ubuntu to convert the file from .mpg to .avi then i edit it in windows movie maker.
