*Figured I better ask a Real Question…
*Also , This is Long , You Need Not Read it All , You may just Answer the Question*
Anyways…This is probably the Biggest Debate in the WS Right at the Moment , so , what is YOUR Stance on Wrestling? And what is YOUR Own Personal Opinion about what Wrestling is , as it pertains to being “Fake” , or Scripted? And what is the Difference of the Two Definitions to You?
Basically , I’d like an Overview of Your Opinion about this Topic.
Something like My Opinion/My Answer (Just an Example):
“Fake” means something has to be Sold as Real. Wrestling has Not been Sold as Real for Over 20 Years…So how can it be Fake?
Also , Fake Implies that Moves such as Punches , Kicks , Slams , etc… are Not making Contact , Much like in Movies. Where in all Actuality , the Punches and Kicks DO make Contact , but only Very Lightly , so as the Receiving Performer knows when to Sell.
Futhermore , How does One “Fake” being Hit with a Legit Steel Folding Chair , Falling 20 (or more) Feet from a Ladder to an (albeit Cushioned) Mat , or through Tables? They may get Their Hands up to Block the Chairshot…a little Bit , but Surely that isn’t “Fake” , since it still makes Contact , and can cause a Serious Injury.
Any Argument One can make to Me about Wrestling being “Fake” , I can Easily Prove isn’t , and just as Easily Prove is “Realer” than You think.
So , MY Opinion (Key Word here “Opinion”) , is that Wrestling is Indeed Scripted & Predetermined (with Parts being Ad-libbed or “Called”) , with the Possibility of Serious , Legit Injury…but in No Way , Shape , or Form “Fake”. Simply because “Fake” Implies something Sold as Completely 100% Real , which Wrestling has Not Been for a Good While…

to me fake means that it is not real, no falls hurt no broken bones are real no cuts,bruises or scars are real.
scripted to me means it is planned but it still can hurt and things can go wrong.
People who say fake are usually saying none of it at all is real, they never get hurt and all of their injuries are just vacations. It pisses me off
