YPSILANTI: Michigan Film Production Credit attracts Goldwyn to area to shoot ‘Conviction’
Director Tony Goldwyn, who is best known for his role as the villain Carl Bruner in the 1990 Hollywood film “Ghost” opposite Patrick Swayze, wouldn’t have filmed his new movie “Conviction” in Michigan if it weren’t for the Michigan Film Production Credit.

Chamber Views: Social networking — evolution or devolution?
Last weekend my 16-year-old son and I went to see “The Social Network” a new movie based on the founding of Internet sensation Facebook. Interesting flick and generally well done. Not sure how historically accurate it is but it did clearly show just how human interaction is evolving or for some, devolving.
